Movie Marathon „The films of Pavol Barabas“
Screening of movies by Pavol Barabas and meeting with one of the best directors of extreme films – open ceremony on 3th of February 18:30, Slovak Embassy’s Official Hall in Sofia. The panorama will continue on 4th, 5th and 6th of Feb, starting 18:30, Polish Institute in Sofia. In the program of event Movie Marathon „The films of Pavol Barabas“ is included Workshop with film director Pavol Barabas (Slovakia).
You will have an opportunity to take part in workshop with one of the the best directors of mountain films.He has worked as a camera operator and director for Sportfilm, ERPO Advertising Agency and K2 STUDIO. In addition to TV advertising and promotional films. His previous awarded titles include the highly acclaimed ,118 Days in Captivity of Ice,, ,Mysterious Mamberamo,, ,Mustang,, and others.He is a member of the Slovak Film and TV Academy.
Pavol Barabas will present you his experience as a cameraman and director by movies with the topic of the lives of people in extreme conditions and broad range of mountain films. If you are a students of filmmaking, you will learn – what is special of extreme and mountain movies? The workshop is open for everyone. You welcome!
