Spurbar(die Faszination) is a documentary about the desire to leave one’s very own track in the backcountry. The skier Daniel experiences with three different groups of skiers the path to delight while freeriding. He provides Michaela, Michael and Stefan with the basics to enable them to eventually ski offpiste by themselves. Together with Benjamin and Lukas Daniel is searching for challenging lines and their personal limits. Relaxed skiing with friends shows him that every track reveals a special moment. Becoming the best skier around is not in his focus anymore but rather discovering and enjoying the aesthetics of the moment.
