Stefano Ragazzo is an Italian alpinist, UIAGM-certified mountain guide, and founder of the platform Alpine Vibes. Originally from Padua, he left the safety of a stable job to fully dedicate himself to his deep passion for the mountains and remote exploration. His journey has led him to some of the world’s most iconic and demanding faces.
Among his most remarkable achievements is the first solo ascent of the legendary route "Eternal Flame" (650 m, 7c+) on the Nameless Tower in the Trango group, Pakistan — considered one of the most beautiful and challenging high-altitude free climbs in the world. Over nine days alone on the wall, Stefano demonstrated exceptional technical skill, mental strength, and commitment, completing the climb in french free style.
He also completed a solo ascent of “The Nose” on El Capitan in Yosemite, USA — one of the most historic and symbolic big wall routes in climbing history.
In recent years, Stefano has focused on exploratory expeditions in the Himalayas and Alaska, with a strong emphasis on first ascents in alpine and big wall style. In 2022, together with Silvia Loreggian, he opened a new route — "Sato Peak" — on an unclimbed summit in the Kangchenjunga region of Nepal. In 2023, the duo completed "Gold Rush" on Cemetery Spire, located in the Kichatna Mountains, Alaska — another testament to their bold yet ethical approach to big mountain walls.
Beyond his athletic accomplishments, Stefano is also a gifted communicator. Through public talks and media appearances, he shares his stories with honesty, depth, and a unique sense of connection.
