One of our best ski alpinism competitors, 27-year-old Nikola Kalistrin from Bansko, will present his film Contemporary Trends in Ski Alpinism Competitions at the Bansko Film Fest. Following last year's triumph of the film "Pirin: The 30 Peaks Challenge," which presented Nikola Kalistrin's inspiring story and the new standard in winter mountain sports, which Nikola set by crossing 30 peaks in northern Pirin, over 2000 m above sea level, in less than 9 hours. Nikola Kalistrin is currently Bulgaria's hope in ski mountaineering and is actively preparing for the 2026 Winter Olympics.
