Milen Bratanov is a licensed IFMGA alpine guide and mountain rescuer.

Milen Bratanov is a long-time employee of the Aleko rescue base of the Bulgarian Mountain Rescue Service as a full-time mountain rescuer and mountain rescue instructor.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

With over 30 years of active experience in the mountains, he is one of the most experienced professionals in Bulgaria, combining his work with hobbies such as mountain biking and paragliding.

He is a certified coach in "Tourism-Mountaineering," having graduated from the National Sports Academy, Department of Tourism, Mountaineering, and Orienteering. He has made numerous ascents of the classic peaks and walls of the Alps, Caucasus, Morocco, and South America, including the ascent of the Gillaumet Needle in the FitzRoy massif in Southern Patagonia.
