With limitless passion, determination, and strength—yet without supplemental oxygen—Adam has conquered some of the world’s tallest peaks. In 2000, at just 17 years old, he received the “Kolosy 2000” distinction for being the youngest climber ever to perform a solo alpine-style ascent of Khan Tengri (7,010m). This early achievement ignited a lifelong journey of exploration.

In 2012, Adam achieved the first winter climb of Gasherbum at 8,068 meters, earning both the “Kolosy” award and the “National Geographic Traveler” award. His climb was recognized as a monumental achievement in exploration by the prestigious ExplorersWeb. He continued to push boundaries with his ascent of K2 in 2012, the first winter ascent of Broad Peak in 2013, and a successful expedition to the northern face of Kanchenjunga in 2014, among other feats.

In January 2018, during his climb of K2, Adam and his team undertook a daring rescue mission for climber Elisabeth Revol, who was stranded on Nanga Parbat. At an altitude of 6,100 meters, they successfully rescued her, demonstrating extraordinary courage and solidarity. For these life-saving efforts, Adam and his fellow climbers were honored with the Legion of Honour, France's highest distinction for military and civil merits.
