Michael Pause (Germany)

Chief of the International Jury.

Born in 1952 in Munich (Germany), mountains became his lifetime passion and occupation. He wrote guide books, edited a magazine and worked for 40 years as author, director, producer and presenter for a TV show about mountaineering. Since its premiere in 2003 he is artistic director of the Tegernsee International Mountain Film Festival. Doing all this he still climbed a lot of mountains!
