H.E. Maciej Szymański, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Sofia

H.E. Maciej Szymański is also author of the exhibition “The Birds of Bulgaria through Polish eyes”, presented during the festival. Dr. Maciej Szymański is a nature enthusiast with a particular interest in birds, which he has been actively observing for almost 35 years. Knowledge of birds proves to be a great advantage when photographing them. He started his adventure with photography in 2001 with an analogue Canon EOS 300. In 2007, he entered the world of digital cameras with the Canon EOS 30D and became engrossed in bird photography. Since then he cannot imagine going out in nature without a camera.
