Georgi Georgiev is one of the most recognizable names in Bulgarian extreme skiing. He has been working as an independent mountain guide since 1994. He is one of the founders of the Free Mountains Association. Leader of trekking groups in the mountains of the world: the Alps, the Himalayas, the Carpathians, the mountains of Turkey, Greece, Macedonia and others. Numerous climbs in the Alps on peaks over 4000 m. (Mont Blanc over 30 climbs, peaks from the group of Monte Rosa, Gran Paradiso, Gran Joras, Matterhorn, Bar and Dom Des’Ecren, etc.), Caucasus, Pamirs and others. He has led ski expeditions to Mera Peak, Saribung, Larke Peak / premier descent /, alpine expeditions to Ama Dablam, Island Peak, Tent Peak (Nepal), ski groups in India, Austrian, French and Italian Alps, Turkey, Greece, Mace . He led trekking, climbing and ski groups in Bulgaria and the mountains of the world for Club Aventure, ZigZag, Atalant, TopSki (France), Exodus (England), SNP (Netherlands), Lapoint and others. Author of premier ascents in the mountains of Bulgaria and Turkey, numerous premier ski descents. Participant in a number of first Bulgarian climbs in the mountains of the world.
