This experimental ski film approaches the mountain from a different perspective. Shot exclusively during the golden hour — the most beautiful yet fleeting time of day — the light is unique, but it lies close to darkness: ascents begin in the night, and descents end in shadow. Complemented by footage captured with a thermal imaging camera, the film presents unfamiliar visuals that emphasise the interplay of light and temperature. Combined with an original sound composition, a dense atmosphere emerges in which image and sound intertwine. Contrasts and warmth within the cold element form the foundation of the film.
