The film Cleаn mountains (ИзЧисти планини) presents the story of the high mountain clean-ups in Bulgaria, which have been organized since 1999 thanks to the environmental association Za Zemiata and the efforts of hundreds of volunteers.
Shot during the 2023 clean-up in Belasitsa Nature park, and enriched with archive footage, the movie follows the 25 years of history of the initiative, over 130 tons of waste removed from the highest parts of our national parks, and the friendships made along the way.
