Nicolle, Kevin and Gianluigi have different stories and different bodies, but climbing brings them together on a shared path upwards.
They meet through Brenta Open, a project founded by mountaineer Simone Elmi with the aim of making the Dolomites accessible to everyone.
The film follows them through everyday life and physical training, through fatigue, uncertainty and moments of enthusiasm. Their personal stories unfold against the striking landscape of the Dolomites.
The journey reaches its climax with a group ascent. Here, the challenge of pushing beyond one’s limits becomes a collective experience, a simple, tangible form of spirituality expressed through hands reaching out, steps taken together, and moments of silence that invite inner reflection.
The summit becomes the symbol of a journey that is not only about reaching a destination, but about discovering a deeper sense of connection and sharing.
