Enrico is an expert mountaineer always in search of the perfect climb, the ideal path to the summit, even though he says, working in the family dairy he spends more time contemplating the form of cheese than that of the mountains. Arianna is a young filmmaker, passionate about mountaineering. Paolo is a mountain guide who dreams of the peaks of Patagonia. Together they undertake an expedition with an ambitious objective: to open up a new route to the highest peak of the Cordon Mariano Moreno, a mountain range that emerges from the surface of the Hielo Continental, the immense sea of ice that crosses southern Patagonia.
