The Bulgarian women's sailing crew Time2Dare made history as the first and only all-female team to successfully complete the prestigious international Aegean 600 regatta – one of the most difficult offshore races in Europe. For nearly six days, ten women battled calm winds, stormy weather, and harsh conditions aboard the 36-foot Tiamat to finish in the final minutes before the control time expired. The crew was awarded the special Hera prize – in memory of Ganna Kononchuk – for the most female crew.

Time2Dare is more than a sporting initiative – it is a movement that inspires women and girls to believe in themselves, creates new role models and changes attitudes through mentoring, training and events such as the Amazon women's regatta and the Dare2Inspire series.

Time2Dare will be presented by:

Klementina. She graduated from Sofia Mathematical High School and then continued her education at the Technical University, majoring in Electronics. She worked in the field of information technology for ten years, but over time realized that this was not her calling. She decided to change careers, a choice that involved a certain amount of risk and a significant personal, financial, and time investment. She currently works as a skipper and sailing instructor. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite activities include skiing, motorcycling, diving, and spending time in nature.

Margarita Aleksova is a biologist by education and an adventurer at heart. Her professional life is connected with water—but drinking water: she is committed to ensuring that the residents of Sofia have access to safe, high-quality water that they can drink from the tap without worry.

Her love for boats began during her student years in the late 1990s, when she and her friends participated in various sailing regattas. For her, sailing is an expression of freedom and a way to connect with nature, and when the experience is shared with loved ones, it becomes even more exciting. She is grateful for the support she receives from her family in these endeavors.
